Global Chief Information Officer
As Global Chief Information Officer at Fiserv, Inc., Chris Augustin leads product development and technology strategy. Augustin is responsible for transforming how Fiserv uses the latest technologies to help clients grow their business. Prior to the combination with First Data, Augustin served as CIO of the Americas at First Data since 2014.
Augustin brings over four decades of experience to Fiserv as a technology leader in global finance, market trading platforms, and commerce. Prior to First Data, he served as CIO and Senior Business Advisor for startup Marked Private, LLC, where he designed and architected the 'enCappture' platform for mobile app solutions and social networking capabilities. Before that, he co-founded and served as CIO for Javelin Capital Markets LLC, where he built an engineering team that developed a cutting-edge Swap Execution Facility.
His leadership background includes serving as Global CIO of Merrill Lynch and holding senior technology roles at Salomon Smith Barney, Citigroup, and Bank of America, where he managed various global mergers and technology conversions. Augustin holds an MBA from New York University Stern School of Business and a bachelor's degree from the College of the Holy Cross.
