Co-Head, Financial Solutions
John Gibbons serves as Co-Head of our Financial Solutions business, which serves thousands of financial institutions in the US and around the world. John primarily focuses on enabling the success of financial institution and fintech clients through the development and delivery of innovative card payment, debit network, digital payment, bill payment, data aggregation, digital banking and account processing solutions.
Gibbons joined the company in December 2018, most recently serving as the Head of the Financial Institutions Group. Previously, he was Head of the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region, where Fiserv has operations in 13 countries and provides issuing, payments software, merchant acquiring and processing services to financial institutions, fintechs, enterprise and small- and medium-sized businesses.
Before joining Fiserv, John led Global Transaction Banking at Deutsche Bank. Prior to that, he was at JPMorgan Chase & Co., serving as Regional Executive for EMEA and as JPMorgan’s Global Head of Banks and Broker Dealers for Treasury Services. Earlier in his career, Gibbons held leadership positions at global financial institutions in London, Amsterdam and New York.
Gibbons is a graduate of the University of Connecticut. He lives in New York City and is a citizen of the United States, the U.K., and the Republic of Ireland.
